Model Exhibit

In terms of size and content, the HFI model and historical documents collection rivals any collection depicting the history of the helicopter anywhere in the world. The collection is currently being digitized and will be made available to the public in the future. This invaluable collection of information will have a google-powered interface making it easy to search in seconds the documents, which number in the tens of thousands.

Special thanks go to the many craftsmen, including Art Babiarz, Ned Gillliand, Bill Topping, Lloyd V. Jones, Thomas Krivacsy, Jim Matthews, Inima Siqueira, Pat March, Michael Rastello, and Pete Harlem who built models for the HFI collection.

HFI thanks those who donated the many private and corporate scale models to the collection.

And a very special thanks is extended to the late John "Slats" Slattery for building the collection and maintaining it for many decades.
