About the Aircraft: The R.J. Enstrom Corporation was established in 1959 in Michigan to market a conventional helicopter at a competitive price. The first prototype flew in 1960. Originally a two-seater, it evolved into a three-seater with a fully-articulated three-blade rotor system.
